Kohiki-Silver Rectangle Plate
The Kohiki-Silver Rectangular Plate by Riso Porcelain is finished in the kohiki (粉引) technique, where white slip is applied over the clay body before firing, resulting in a soft, milky white surface with a warm, subtly hazy depth. One edge is left deliberately raw and unfinished, evoking the texture of a stone slab and giving the plate a quietly sculptural character. Well suited for composed plating, charcuterie, or any presentation that benefits from a strong linear canvas. Designed by Shinichi Terauchi, made in Arita, Japan.
