Part of Hataman Touen's Texture collection, this wide, shallow bowl is designed to make food the focal point of the table. The gently curving form frames whatever is plated inside without competing with it. The Black Rough finish is achieved through Hataman Touen's proprietary manganese crystal glaze, fired slowly at precise temperatures until the crystals migrate to the surface, forming a hard, metallic texture that shifts in depth and pattern across each piece. Because the crystals develop differently with every firing, no two bowls are identical.
