Forged by hand from a single sheet of aluminum, this rim plate carries the quiet, brushed surface that defines metal artist Yoshinori Nagashima's work, made in his Tokyo studio. Its deep, gently sloped rim holds it well for serving, while the smaller footprint also lends itself to a catchall for keys, rings, or other small items.

Note: each piece is hand-forged, so the texture and surface marks left from hammering are part of the piece, not a flaw.
